Swamp Pirates Art by Josh Shockley of PLB Comics

Ogre and I only exchange gifts for our birthdays so we can use the money we’d spend on other holidays to treasure moments instead. However, he decided to be a sweet scallywag and do something special for our 5th wedding anniversary, which also happened to be the year that Ogre’s Grove was set to open only a month later.

He commissioned Josh Shockley of PLB Comics to create custom art for the shop wall by turning us into swamp pirates, using our wedding photo. The unique piece has received many comments over the years. And now you have a chance to meet the artist! We are thrilled that Josh will be attending our shop anniversary Saturday, Oct. 21 from 11am to 4pm.
