Featured Fantasy Artist: Sarah Alden

I’ve been stalking Sarah Alden’s art (sarahaldenart.com) for years, thanks to us both being members of the FAEteam on Etsy. I even convinced the butterflies in my stomach to calm down enough to introduce myself face to face to her during FaerieCon a few years back. I didn’t let her being based in Dallas, Texas deter me from asking her to be a featured artist in my Milton, Delaware comic shop and art gallery. We only have 5 of her mounted prints available as shown in photo, but look forward to carrying more of her art on keychains in the future. Here’s a little about her in her own words:

“I knew from the beginning that I wanted to be an artist. I started my journey as a watercolor painter in 2001 and received my fine arts degree in 2005. I’m a student for life – I’m inspired by nature, butterflies, flowers, fashion and sparkly things, to name a few!

I am most passionate about fantasy and fairy art. And taking you into a world that is inspiring and uplifting. A place where you can get lost in the magical beauty, within those serene moments where you just let go and dream!”
