Featured Artist: Savannah Maher

Feeling unbalanced from the wavering weather? Come inside and get grounded before our winter art exhibit ends. Savannah Maher’s geometric work is on our walls until Friday, March 6 when you can meet her at 4pm if you missed her artist reception back in November.

Ogre first met Sav while getting tattooed by Fred Giovannitti at Ink and Energy Tattooing in Lewes, where Sav is also a tattoo artist by appointment only. Her intricate designs convey a passion for sacred geometry and cosmic symmetry – which started after she failed geometry as a freshman in high school. She became increasingly interested in principles like the golden ratio, and is now a longtime student of universal philosophy and metaphysics.

Also inspired by Reiki, Sav channels positive energy into each unique piece. The symbols are created to combat negative space. Follow her at @damelaroya on Instagram to join in her journey.
